How we collect reviews

We want the reviews on this website to be useful when you're deciding. That's why we explain where they come from and how we handle them.

Where they come from

  • From our Etsy shop. We also sell on Etsy, in the MariadelpinoJewels shop. The reviews our buyers leave there are copied to this website once a week with the Judge.me app. They appear exactly as they were written, with their rating, text and original language: we don't translate or edit them.
  • From this website. Two weeks after we ship your order, we send you an email asking for your review of the piece.

How we check they're from real customers

On Etsy, only people who bought the piece can leave a review. On this website, Judge.me checks each review against our list of orders and, if the reviewer bought here, adds a "Verified" badge. With the "Write a review" button on each piece, people who haven't bought on this website can also leave a review, for example someone who bought from us in person. Those reviews don't carry the "Verified" badge.

Each review also shows where it comes from, for example whether it was written on Etsy or collected from a store visitor.

What we publish

  • We publish every review, including negative ones.
  • We only remove reviews that contain insults, personal data or advertising, that aren't about the piece or the purchase, or that were written by our relatives.
  • We don't pay for reviews or give discounts or gifts in exchange for them.
  • Sometimes we reply publicly below a review, especially if there's something to clarify.

How we calculate the rating

The average rating is the average of the stars, from 1 to 5, of all published reviews. The one on the home page covers all the store's reviews; the one on each piece covers only the reviews of that piece.

If you think a review doesn't follow these rules, write to us and we'll look into it.
